DP (Delhi Police) Eligibility Criteria

In order to be appear in the Delhi Police Examination, the candidate has to fulfil the following criterias:

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit: The candidate must between the ages of 18-25 to be eligible for the examination. Also, relaxation is given to SC, ST and others.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a reputable board.

For the following individuals, class relaxation to class 11th has been provided:

Sons or daughters of currently employed, recently retired, or recently deceased members of the Delhi Police or members of the Multi Tasking Staff, buglers, bandsmen, mounted constables, dispatch riders, drivers, etc.

Gender: Both male and females are eligible for these posts.

DP Exam Pattern 2023

A three-stage selection process is used to recruit Delhi Police Constables. Candidates are considered for the PET & PMT shortlisting procedure if they meet the computer-based minimal cut-off. Candidates must meet specific physical requirements to advance to the qualifying round of PET and PMT.
